Why Use a Realtor?

Did you know that as a buyer, it doesn’t cost you any extra when purchasing a home? In many cases, I feel that there is a misconception that you, as a buyer, need to write a check at the end of the transaction or come in with extra money to pay the agent that helped you for the transaction. In its sole root, you technically don’t pay the Realtor anything, but rather the seller is the one who pays the listing agent (the listings you see on Zillow, Trulia, or agent websites belong to this person) and the selling agent (the person who helps you purchase a home).

Another fun fact in regards to using a real estate agent, is that if you call the name on the sign, this agent is representing the seller and more or less aiding you/ walking you through the transaction. So, I must emphasize to stay loyal to your Realtor! We ultimately all have the same goal at the end of the day and that is to get you into your new home. So, when checking out local listings, if you already have a Realtor, be sure to communicate your thoughts to them, we have access to the same information you do and are more than happy to set up a showing time that works for you.

Our priority as Realtors is to keep you and your family in our best interest, while working honestly and diligently. At the end of the day, your happiness is what matters and being the Realtor to help you find and close on your home is the reason we come to work everyday.

Until next week!
